Job summary

Ohio CAT is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive sales of Caterpillar construction equipment and related services across a multi-state territory. You will identify new business opportunities, advise customers with expertise, and negotiate transactions that benefit both customer and company.

Travel includes visits to Hamilton, Ripley, Dearborn, and nearby counties. The role demands strategic sales execution, excellent communication, and strong product knowledge with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• At least 5 years in construction equipment sales or related field.
• Must live within proximity to the territory and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sell Caterpillar construction equipment, rentals, and related services.
• Manage territory with strategic planning and execution.
• Build customer relationships using product knowledge and business insight.
• Negotiate deals meeting customer needs and company goals.
• Maintain quotes, reports, contracts, and delivery records in Sales Link.
• Collaborate with factory reps and other departments to drive outcomes.
• Frequent visits to jobsites and field environments; adhere to safety protocols.
