Job summary

CAVA is seeking a Lead Analyst, Catering Team Member Systems to own the product and technical evolution of the custom systems supporting our catering business. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Catering, UX, Analytics, and vendors to deliver integrated solutions that enhance catering execution and team member experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management or a similar technology-focused role.
• Experience supporting catering, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other multi-unit operational technology environments preferred.
• Experience leading products or technology initiatives through the full agile lifecycle, from discovery through implementation and continuous improvement.
• Strong ability to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and translate business needs into clear product and technical solutions.
• Experience working with custom-built applications, third-party platforms, system integrations, and technology ecosystems.
• Strong data-driven mindset, with the ability to use operational data, user insights, and performance metrics to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product and technical lifecycle for key catering team member systems, from discovery and requirements through development, testing, implementation, and ongoing improvement.
• Own the product and technical direction for assigned catering capabilities, balancing team member needs, business priorities, data, operational realities, and technical feasibility.
• Translate catering workflows, stakeholder feedback, operational data, and business objectives into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
• Partner with Engineering, UX, Operations, Catering, Analytics, and vendors to define, scope, prioritize, and deliver solutions.
• Help shape the architecture and integration strategy across CAVA’s internally developed systems and third-party catering platforms.
• Lead agile delivery practices, including backlog development, prioritization, refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and ongoing iteration.
• Define testing and validation approaches that ensure solutions are reliable, usable, and aligned with real-world catering workflows.
• Use data and performance insights to identify opportunities, evaluate outcomes, monitor adoption, and improve system effectiveness.
• Identify system, process, and integration risks and drive resolution across technical and business teams.
• Maintain clear product and technical documentation, including workflows, requirements, integrations, processes, and support needs.
• Partner with Operations and Catering leadership to ensure solutions support effective restaurant execution and the evolving catering business.
• Coordinate vendor relationships and third-party dependencies related to assigned systems.
• Contribute to the catering technology roadmap, intake processes, and delivery practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted partner for team members and leaders across Technology and the business.
