Job summary

Parkhurst Dining at Washington & Jefferson College is seeking a Catering Supervisor to lead events from setup to service, ensuring flawless execution and guest satisfaction. This hands-on leadership role thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

You’ll supervise team members, uphold Parkhurst and client policies, coach staff on service standards, and assist with purchasing when needed.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional experience with one or more years in a catering supervisory role.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities; ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
• High school or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supervises team members in their area of responsibility; consults with management to improve services.
• Follows established Parkhurst and client policies and procedures; upholds standards.
• Coaches team on Smile Plus hospitality imperatives and service standards.
• May assist in purchasing foods and supplies.
• Maintains presence in service areas to assess customer satisfaction and report findings.
