**Job Description**

Responsible for supervising, training, and managing the food service operation. Ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served.

**Job Responsibilities**

  1. Develops and maintains a safety culture that promotes a work environment free of injuries. Supervises catering operations, including staff coordination, rental equipment, setup, preparation, service, and breakdown of catered foods, beverages, and events of varying size and complexity.
  2. Handles booking of events, selection and costing of menu items, and pricing as needed.
  3. Coordinates activities with other internal departments, participates in management team meetings, and interfaces with vendors and key service users within the client organization.
  4. Represents Aramark and the client at meetings and events, facilitating external customer relations.
  5. Ensures compliance with sanitation, organization, and safety standards through checklists, supervision, and follow-up.
  6. Participates in and helps develop and implement catering training programs for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
  7. Supports implementation and adherence to all Aramark Catering initiatives and guidelines.
  8. Prior experience with event booking is preferred.

  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

  • Strong organizational skills.

Minimum Education/Certification: High School Diploma/GED.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
