Job description

**Job Description**

The Event Coordinator II is responsible for supervising and supporting the planning of catering events of varying sizes and levels at both central and satellite locations. Ensures consistent achievement of all catering brand standards and initiatives.

**Job Responsibilities**

  1. Develop and foster a safety culture that promotes a work environment where no one gets hurt.
  2. Assist or supervise catering operations, including staff coordination, rental equipment management, setup, preparation, service, and breakdown of catered foods, beverages, and events of varying size and complexity.
  3. Book events, select and cost menu items, and determine pricing as needed.
  4. Manage catering invoices.
  5. Coordinate activities with other internal departments.
  6. Participate in management team meetings.
  7. Collaborate with vendors and key service users within the client organization.
  8. Represent Aramark and the client at meetings and events, facilitating external customer relations.
  9. Ensure sanitation, organization, and safety standards are met through checklists, supervision, and follow-up.
  10. Participate in catering training programs and assist in developing and implementing training for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
  11. Support the implementation and adherence to all Aramark Catering initiatives and guidelines.
