Job summary

Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to drive revenue, win new accounts, and nurture lasting client relationships. You will curate memorable events, coordinate banquet orders, and lead sales efforts with a focus on service excellence.

The role is overtime-eligible, requiring strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; catering sales experience preferred.
• Creativity and food/beverage knowledge desired.
• Valid driver’s license for applicable state required.
• Developed verbal and written communication skills; ability to negotiate, sell, and influence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales targets: crush revenue goals and win new accounts.
• Build relationships with leisure guests, business travelers, and SMERF groups.
• Orchestrate flawless event lists, banquet orders, and schedules.
• Ensure guest interactions are upbeat, attentive, and professional.
• Collaborate in meetings, promotions, and leadership initiatives.
• Represent the company with stellar judgment and confidentiality.
