This role involves identifying and soliciting new banquet business, actively pursuing and servicing key existing and targeted accounts, planning meal functions, and working directly with customers on all setup requirements in the function space.

Where You'll Make an Impact
- Respond promptly to incoming group/catering inquiries within 24 hours.
- Identify, qualify, and solicit new business to meet revenue goals.
- Design and promote creative catering menus and wedding packages.
- Maximize revenue through upselling and creative offerings.
- Understand market trends, competitors, and economic factors to effectively sell against them.
- Close opportunities based on market conditions and property needs using negotiation skills.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty before and during events.
- Assist clients by understanding their needs and recommending suitable features and services.
- Manage all aspects of event planning, including scheduling, equipment rentals, AV requirements, tastings, menu development, creating BEOs, invoicing, and decor.
- Accurately post charges, present bills, and report revenue.
- Maintain accurate records of booked business and revenue forecasts.
- Handle group and social event bookings from inquiry to follow-up, including proposals, contracts, and logistics.
- Conduct site tours and pre-con meetings.
- Develop detailed group resumes to communicate requirements to hotel staff.
