Job summary

The role requires a minimum of three years in hotel or conference catering/sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education; post-high school education preferred.
• Minimum of three years in hotel or conference catering/sales.
• Excellent spoken and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Learn the hotel brand and strategy; grow share of the account by delivering service excellence.
• Identify and solicit new accounts via telemarketing, appointments, site tours, calls and emails.
• Advise clients on facilities and services for groups and events.
• Establish client base of organizations and corporate accounts through direct sales.
• Negotiate F&B, function space, room rates and services to meet revenue goals.
• Prepare reports and participate in business plans and budgets.
