Prismhr Hire is seeking a skilled Catering Manager to oversee all catering sales and operations in the Over the Mountain area. You will lead planning, execution of deliveries and events, and grow the catering business through new client acquisition while maintaining exceptional service.

The role requires strong sales, organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and collaborate with clients, vendors, and staff to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Catering Manager or similar role in hospitality.
• Strong sales, organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, vendors and staff.
• In-depth knowledge of food preparation, menu planning and catering operations.
• Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve and make quick decisions for events.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Creative thinking and attention to detail for catering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all catering deliveries and events; promote catering to corporations, schools, private and public businesses, personal gatherings and other special occasions.
• Create and develop a list of new customers; sell menu and services with dietary considerations and seasonal ingredients.
• Collaborate with clients to understand event requirements for personalized service and memorable experiences.
• Make sales calls, in person and by phone to generate new and repeat business.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships; ensure quality products and services are delivered on time.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to promote catering services and maintain relationships.
• Stay updated with seasonal opportunities and the competitive landscape to improve catering exposure.
• Address customer complaints and resolve event-related issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
