Job Description

The Catering Sales Manager will support catering functions across building operations, culinary, and catering departments, working closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth. This role involves networking for new sales opportunities, conducting sales blitzes, and executing marketing efforts to support sales growth. Additionally, the role will be responsible for booking events at the location.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Market to professional meeting planners for meetings, conferences, training events, and seminars.
  2. Make telephone solicitation calls to generate new business contacts.
  3. Secure appropriate meeting space for groups.
  4. Greet and serve clients/groups to ensure satisfaction.
  5. Follow up with clients via calls, letters, and site tours to secure contracts and ensure customer happiness.
  6. Input data to generate contracts, update client files, and manage information in sales software.
  7. Participate in special projects as needed.
  8. Engage with professional membership organizations to find prospects and stay updated on industry trends.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to provide quality service for all groups.
  10. Assist Sales and Marketing Leadership in managing budgets and preparing reports.
  11. Coordinate telemarketing activities.
  12. Attend weekly meetings related to billing, business review, and sales.
  13. Adhere to Aramark policies, safety, and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Hotel Sales and Marketing or related fields.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
