Job description

This is a permanent, part-time, remote position with the ability to transfer into full-time.

Responsibilities:
  • Actively pursue and close sales opportunities, negotiate contracts, and secure bookings for high-end events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Supervise the planning and execution of both internal and external catering events, ensuring every detail is perfect.
  • Create compelling proposals and banquet event orders that highlight our exceptional offerings.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, set ambitious financial targets, and ensure profitability.
  • Cultivate relationships with premium vendors to enhance event quality and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure all events adhere to safety and sanitation standards in line with HACCP guidelines.
  • Take on additional duties and special projects as needed to drive business growth.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Deep knowledge of current food trends and fine dining service standards.
  • 1-2 years in the hospitality industry, including 1 year in catering sales.
  • Strong ability to supervise, schedule, train, and mentor team members.
  • Exceptional ability to assess and fulfill client requirements.
  • Skilled in collaborating with chefs to create menu proposals.
  • Competence in supervising food preparation, service, and clean-up.
  • Familiarity with A/V equipment setup and breakdown for events.
  • Outstanding quantitative, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Superior leadership and organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Exceptional abilities in client relations and customer service.
