Job summary

Constellation, part of Elior North America, seeks an experienced Catering Sales Manager in Miami, FL. You will be responsible for the sales and marketing of all department services, including catered events for internal and external groups, and will plan menus in line with customer expectations and budgets.

You will coordinate the seamless execution of events, manage proposals and contracts, and oversee cost control and reporting, while building strong client relationships and leading catering

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in a sales or catering management role.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities; ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises all catering functions.
• Maintains local client database and builds relationships with vendors.
• Creates operating statements, reports, and budgets; reviews receivables collection.
• Develops relationships with associates, clients, and customers.
• Creates proposals, contracts and event orders.
• Ensures menus and catering materials are professionally prepared.
• Hires and develops catering staff and assists in training materials/policies.
• Coordinates client venue walkthroughs and third-party event contracting.
• Oversees food-related components for related programs and events.
