Job Description

The Administrative Support Worker assists management with administrative tasks such as ordering, data entry, and filing. The role requires professional and cheerful interaction with customers, visitors, and employees. Responsibilities may vary by location based on client needs and business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Perform administrative duties including mail distribution, supply ordering, stock management, phone answering, and visitor greeting.
  2. Support unit management with clerical tasks related to accounting, payroll, receiving, and human resources, including filing, data entry, and record maintenance.
  3. Greet customers, clients, and employees; handle inquiries and direct calls as needed.
  4. Maintain office memos and postings.
  5. Operate office technology and systems such as voicemail, copiers/scanners, computers, and MS Office.
  6. Adapt to changing job duties and develop new skills to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Prior administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms.
