**Job Description**

The Warehouse Supervisor guides and controls warehouse activities to ensure accurate storing and distributing of raw materials and finished goods. Supervises the timely delivery of merchandise in the amount ordered while maintaining warehouse security. Provides a safe working environment through compliance with safety programs.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Coordinates the planning and assignment of work, achieving the most efficient use of personnel and equipment.
2. Maintains inventory and helps establish inventory levels based on prior usage and future demand.
3. Receives incoming shipments and packages from various carriers and enters information into the tracking system for disbursement.
4. Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality based on the product order and rejects undesirable items.
5. Supervises the warehouse and the inventory held within to ensure security and upkeep.
6. Assists in ordering from site vendors by advising management on needs and contacting vendors directly when necessary.
7. Develops and recommends improvements in current warehouse practices to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
8. Provides training for warehouse employees and may assist in employee selection.
9. Uncrates shipments as required and properly disposes of or stores containers and packaging.
10. Adheres to safety protocols and uses PPE as required, considering physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing.

**Qualifications**

• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
