Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Cafe is seeking a Catering Prep Cook to support the Catering team by preparing dishes from scratch, organizing production, and ensuring craftsmanship and food safety. You will work closely with the Catering General Manager, Sous Chef, and kitchen leadership to maintain quality, efficiency, and hospitality across all prep stages.

Responsibilities include following prep lists, portioning ingredients, labeling and stocking with proper safety procedures, and maintaining inventory

Responsibilities

• Follow daily prep lists created by the Catering General Manager, Catering Sous Chef, and Supervisors.
• Prepare, wash, chop, sort, and portion ingredients including vegetables, fruits, meats, and other products.
• Measure ingredients accurately while following recipes and production standards.
• Label, organize, and stock ingredients using proper food safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory and communicate product needs to kitchen leadership.
• Learn and execute Tatte cooking techniques and preparation methods.
• Monitor food quality, storage, and cooling temperatures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment.
• Assist chefs with food preparation and additional kitchen responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
