Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Sanitation course completion required within first year as lead.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production records.
• Direct daily activities and supervise employees.
• Maintain food safety and quality according to policies and dept requirements.
• Ensure safe storage and organized handling of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules and adhere to menu specs and safety rules.
• Maintain sanitary department following health codes.
• Maintain accurate weekly inventory per policies.
• May prepare vendor orders to ensure accurate production.
• Knowledgeable in running an efficient cost-effective program.
• Counsel employees, promote growth, morale, and teamwork.
