Utah Valley University is seeking a part-time Assistant Catering Manager to help lead catering operations and deliver exceptional service for campus events.

Working under the direction of the Catering Associate Director, this position supports daily department operations, including hiring, training, and scheduling staff, coordinating office activities, and working with clients to ensure successful special events.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or any combination of education and/or experience totaling at least two years.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to manage events.
• Experience with catering operations and staff scheduling is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily catering department operations under the Catering Associate Director.
• Hire, train and schedule student staff for events.
• Coordinate office activities and document all event details and client communications.
• Work with clients to ensure successful events and high-quality service.
• Assist in staffing coverage and take on catering management duties in the manager's absence.
