Job summary

Spruce Peak, part of Hyatt, seeks a Catering Manager to coordinate details for sales groups, weddings, and social events, handling hotel guestrooms, catering services, food and beverage, and banquet facilities while driving revenues and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment, builds relationships with clients and internal teams, and ensures flawless execution of every event.

Qualifications

• College degree in hospitality, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years in sales or event management with one year in F&B or luxury hospitality.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal departments.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Experience in high-volume and luxury environments.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate details for sales groups, weddings and social events, including hotel guestrooms, catering, food & beverage, and banquet facilities.
• Maximize total rooms, food, beverage and meeting room rental revenues and profits while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure flawless event execution.
• Assist in event setup and breakdown, and support food service as needed.

Summary

We are looking for a Catering Manager to join our team! The C Catering Manager coordinates and communicates details for sales groups, weddings, and social events, regarding hotel guestrooms, catering services, food and beverage, and banquet facilities, while maximizing total rooms, food, beverage, and meeting room rental revenues and profits, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑‑ paced environment, builds strong relationships with clients and internal teams, and ensures every event is executed flawlessly.

Pay Range: $67,000 - $73,000 per year.

Qualifications

• College degree in hospitality, business, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• A minimum of two years in sales or event management with one year in F&B or luxury hospitality related work experience.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal departments.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
• Prior experience in high-volume and luxury environments.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and or holidays as the business requires.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to occasionally assist in breaking down to set up of banquet space, or assist in food service as needed, requiring lifting of up to 50 pounds.
