Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Catering Manager to coordinate sales groups, weddings, and social events with a focus on flawless execution and guest satisfaction. You will work with sales, culinary, and banquet teams to optimize rooms, F&B revenue and event profitability in a fast-paced luxury setting at Spruce Peak, Vermont.

The ideal candidate holds a hospitality or related degree, with 2+ years in sales or event management and 1+ year in F&B or luxury hospitality.

Qualifications

• College degree in hospitality, business, or related field.
• Two years in sales or event management with one year in F&B or luxury hospitality.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal departments.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
• Prior experience in high-volume and luxury environments.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as the business requires.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when assisting setup.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate details for sales groups, weddings, and social events, regarding hotel guestrooms, catering services, food and beverage, and banquet facilities.
• Maximize total rooms, food, beverage, and meeting room rental revenues and profits while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Build relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure events are executed flawlessly.

We are looking for a Catering Manager to join our team! The C Catering Manager coordinates and communicates details for sales groups, weddings, and social events, regarding hotel guestrooms, catering services, food and beverage, and banquet facilities, while maximizing total rooms, food, beverage, and meeting room rental revenues and profits, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, builds strong relationships with clients and internal teams, and ensures every event is executed flawlessly.

Pay Range: $67,000 - $73,000 per year.

Qualifications

• College degree in hospitality, business, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• A minimum of two years in sales or event management with one year in F&B or luxury hospitality related work experience.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal departments.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
• Prior experience in high-volume and luxury environments.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and or holidays as the business requires.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to occasionally assist in breaking down to set up of banquet space, or assist in food service as needed, requiring lifting of up to 50 pounds.
