Hyatt Hotels Corporation at The Lodge at Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont is seeking a Hybrid Food & Beverage Manager. You will oversee Alpine Hall, Tipsy Trout, and Whistle Pig Pavilion, while training staff to maximize profitability and guest service during peak seasons.

During summer events, you will act as Banquet Manager, coordinating events and supervising staff to achieve the Lodge at Spruce Peak's objectives. Hyatt emphasizes career growth and cross-property mobility within the Hyatt family.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant college degree and 1+ year of management experience preferred.
• F&B and events/banquets experience is a plus.
• Leadership and communication skills required.

We are looking for a Hybrid Food & Beverage Manager to join our Team. The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Alpine Hall, Tipsy Trout and/or Whistle Pig Pavilion, as well as other potential activations at the Lodge at Spruce Peak in the Winter months. You will train and motivate staff to maximize profitability and provide memorable guest service.

During the busy summer events season, this manager will act as a Banquet Manager. You will assist the Director of Banquets in overseeing a team of talented individuals and will be responsible for managing and working with the Banquet Captains in supervising Banquet events, colleagues, and the overall department. This position will administrate staff, coordinate banquet events, and implements strategies to achieve The Lodge at Spruce Peak's objectives.

Pay Range: $65,000-$70,000 a year based on experience.

Essential Functions:

• Training & Development of line level Colleagues to ensure seamless & luxurious guest service.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, consistently going above and beyond to meet guest expectations, resolve issues, and create memorable experiences.
• Manages schedules and payroll for employees.
• Lead & Communicate information to the service team giving them the knowledge to be individually empowered.
• Supervise and Assist in the set up and breakdown of events, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards.
• Supervise the performance, attendance, attitude, appearance and conduct of service team and coaching in the moment to colleagues for both celebration and opportunities.
• Monitoring and responding to customer experience opportunities in real time and seeking out feedback from guest's post-stay to identify opportunities for improvement
• Lead the team to identify and prioritize tasks as needed.
• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Relevant college degree and one year of management experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2 years of prior Management experience, required. F&B and Events/Banquets related experience preferred.
• Leadership and Communication skills.
• Flexible schedule to include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and the ability to effectively utilize POS systems, reporting platforms, and other business technology tool.
• Must have or obtain a valid DLC certificate
• Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 30 lbs.
