Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality seeks a Catering Sales Manager to drive catering revenue and ensure exceptional service from planning through execution. You will oversee catering sales, event detailing, group room blocks, and wedding room block sales, acting as the liaison between clients and hotel operations for flawless guest experiences.

The role emphasizes relationship building, proposal development, and cross-functional coordination with sales and operations to deliver memorable events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of hotel sales, catering, or event management experience preferred.
• Experience with catering sales, group room blocks, or wedding business preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; ability to multitask and manage multiple events.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, solicit, and secure catering and social event business to achieve revenue goals.
• Respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, contracts, and BEOs.
• Conduct site tours and maintain relationships with local businesses, wedding planners, and community organizations.
• Maximize F&B revenue through upselling opportunities and customized event experiences.
• Participate in networking events and community functions to promote the hotel.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the planning process.
• Detail all catering and social events, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with hotel departments.
• Prepare and distribute BEOs and ensure event specs are executed properly.
• Conduct pre-convention and pre-event meetings with clients and teams.
• Maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Manage all contracted group room blocks, monitor pickup/attrition, coordinate rooming lists and group billing.
• Work with Revenue Management and Front Office to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
• Generate and manage wedding room block business, coordinate all room block details.
