Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises Co. in Westerville, OH, seeks a Catering & Sales Manager to generate and book social and corporate events, meeting space, and small room blocks. You will prospect, sell, and secure business while creating exceptional client experiences throughout the sales process.

After contracting, events shift to an Event Manager for execution. The role requires a proactive, relationship-driven approach and flexibility for evenings/weekends to engage clients and tour sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hotel sales, catering sales, event sales, hospitality sales or related field.
• Proven ability to generate new business and close sales opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, networking and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, solicit, and secure social events, corporate meetings, and small group business to achieve revenue goals.
• Sell meeting and event space with food & beverage and small guest room blocks.
• Conduct site tours, client meetings, and presentations to showcase offerings.
