Job summary

Havana Central Times Sq. in the Times Sq/Theater district is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager to drive event revenue through proactive sales and marketing.

You will work closely with the owner, Executive Chef, General Manager and Marketing team to accomplish this in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 2–5 years of sales leadership in hospitality, ability to negotiate contracts for catering and events, and to build relationships with hotels, concierges, and industry

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 5 years sales management experience in hospitality, catering, restaurants or other food and beverage-oriented role.
• Ability to cultivate new business relationships as well as maintain existing ones.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, cold calls/warm calls, set appointments, make sales presentations, follow up, close sales, and maintain client relationships.
• Build in-house relations with hospitality professionals, hotels and concierges.
• Research and follow up on new business development opportunities in a timely fashion.
• Attend industry events related to potential business.
• Prepare punctual and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports.
