Mount Southington Restaurant & Lounge Inc in Plantsville, CT is seeking a Catering Event Lead to help plan, coordinate, and execute successful events. You will be the go-to person for events, working with clients and staff to ensure a memorable experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating timelines, setup, service, and breakdown; overseeing food and beverage service; and maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism throughout each event.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Experience in event coordination, catering, hospitality, restaurant management, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently.
• Reliable transportation and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during events.
• Coordinate event timelines, setup, service, and breakdown.
• Work closely with clients to understand event needs and expectations.
• Communicate event details and timelines with catering and service staff.
• Oversee food and beverage service throughout the event.
• Ensure tables, decor, food stations, bars, and other event areas are properly set up.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during events.
• Monitor event timing and keep the event running according to schedule.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence throughout the event.
• Assist with setup and breakdown when needed.
• Ensure company standards for service, presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism are maintained.
• Complete post-event responsibilities and communicate feedback to management.
