Job summary

Groovin' Gourmets, the catering division of Trolley Hospitality Companies, is seeking part-time bartenders to support events across the Richmond area. You will mix and serve drinks, assist with setup and breakdown, and ensure guest safety and satisfaction at each function.

Candidates should have 2+ years of bartending experience in catering settings, enjoy helping guests celebrate, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stay on your feet for extended periods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience in catering/banquet settings.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service.
• Follow directions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review event worksheets and be knowledgeable about the event.
• Check in with Event Captain upon arrival and departure.
• Set up the bar area and glassware and help unload the vehicle.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; answer questions and make suggestions.
• Verify guests served alcohol are of legal drinking age.
• Handle cash or card payments for drinks if there is a cash bar.
• Clean up the bar area and pack away rentals at the end of the event.
• Assist with breakdown and ensure no debris remains.
