Groovin' Gourmets, the catering division of Trolley Hospitality Companies, invites you to join a fast-paced, guest-facing catering team in the Richmond and Hampton Roads regions. You will craft beautiful, delicious dishes and actively engage guests during events.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong food knowledge, and physical stamina to handle event setups and live stations with pride and professionalism.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in catering, banquet, or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
• Food safety practices and standards knowledge.
• Team-focused mindset with excellent communication.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to thrive in indoor and outdoor event venues.

Responsibilities

• Begin each event by unloading and setting up the kitchen or prep areas.
• Create visually appealing food stations aligned with the event plan.
• Plate and present dishes with high standards of quality and presentation.
• Engage with guests at live action stations while providing exceptional service.
• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth service from start to finish.
• Break down and clean the prep areas, leaving the venue organized.
