Expect $20/hour plus occasional tips and a supportive team that values accuracy and customer service. You'll work at corporate events, weddings, and social gatherings, ensuring smooth bar service, cash handling when required, and compliance with legal drinking age rules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience, preferably in a catering/banquet setting.
• Able to follow directions and work independently.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• This is a very physical position—must be able to bend, twist, lift at least 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Review the event worksheet before arriving at the event and be knowledgeable about the event, timeline, bar type, and food.
• Check in with the Event Captain or Co-Captain on arrival and departure.
• Help unload the GG vehicle and set up the bar area and glassware.
• During the event, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and answer questions about ingredients.
• Verify all guests served alcohol are of legal drinking age.
• If there is a cash bar, take payments for drinks using the Square app.
• At the end, clean up the bar area and pack beverages back into boxes.
• Assist with breakdown and ensure rentals are stored properly.
