Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a detail‑oriented Catering Coordinator to support on- and off-premise events with sales administration and coordination. You will manage event data, prepare proposals, and liaise with clients and vendors to ensure accurate information and smooth operations.

The role requires excellent communication, multi-tasking, and proficiency with MS Office. A hospitality or marketing background is preferred; flexible scheduling is required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining, catering and/or events.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Marketing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inputs and maintains all reserve data for events and details function sheets with equipment needs and rental orders.
• Creates captain’s packets for each event including staff sheets and equipment pulls.
• Prepares proposals for events and submits staff requisitions.
• Assists with client walkthroughs of venues and provides on-site sales representation at events as scheduled.
• Receives and processes deposits and prepares final invoicing and expense reports.
