Occasions Caterers, part of Compass Group USA, seeks an experienced Event Manager to oversee off-premise events with meticulous attention to detail and strong communication. You will coordinate menus, staff, and vendors, ensuring seamless execution within client budgets and expectations.

You will lead a team of supervisors and catering staff, maintain client relationships, and drive successful outcomes while adapting to changing event requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in managing people, events and guest experience.
• Strong organization, time management and team motivation required.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and senior management.
• Able to adapt to changing demands and solve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on scope, budgets, menus, and entertainment to ensure events meet expectations and budget.
• Plan menus in collaboration with clients and chefs.
• Coordinate and execute events within parameters set by Account Executive.
• Lead and motivate the catering team during events.
• Act as liaison among Supervising Chefs, staff, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless events.
• Assess contract requirements and ensure client satisfaction with services.
• Address customer concerns and ensure timely payments.
