Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation is seeking a Catering & Conference Services Manager to sell, manage, and service social groups and meetings at the hotel and resort. The role focuses on maximizing revenue across venues, maintaining client relationships, and delivering service excellence.

You will solicit new business, develop a sales pipeline, and prepare proposals that detail space, lodging, and activities to secure bookings.

Formación

• 1 to 3 years of event or conference services experience.
• Sales, banquet, event, or conference services experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office with knowledge of Excel.
• Delphi/Salesforce software knowledge preferred, but not required.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Colorado approved Alcohol Server Training or must attend within 30 days of employment.
• Food Handler and Allergy training or certification within 14 days.

Responsabilidades

• Solicit new catering and meeting business opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline.
• Provide superior service to customers and help meet revenue targets.
• Prepare proposals detailing venue, lodging and activities to secure business.
• Plan conference services and be the primary contact for client requests.
• Negotiate deposits, payment terms and pricing for events.
• Coordinate with hotel operations to ensure exceptional service for events.
• Occasionally represent the Resort at client events or trade shows.
