Job summary

Compass Group USA, operating Eurest, is hiring for a Catering Captain in Beckman Coulter, Chaska, MN. The role is full-time, daytime Monday–Friday, with a pay range of $18.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Associates may require a valid driver’s license and possibly food handler or alcohol server permits depending on state requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating catering staff schedules, preparing and serving foods at functions, and delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring HACCP

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.
• At least 2 years of relevant catering/food service experience preferred.
• Driver's license may be required.
• Demonstrates understanding of menu items and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure functions are delivered, served and cleared in a timely fashion.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Discusses setup arrangements with function group leaders and handles last-minute changes.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
