Job summary

Eurest is hiring a full-time Catering Captain for an on-site role at General Mills, Golden Valley, MN. The position focuses on coordinating catering staff, preparing and serving food at events, and possibly delivering items to functions. Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, based on interviews.

Experience in catering is required; training is provided where needed. Driver’s license may be required and food-handler/alcohol permits must be obtained where legally required.

Qualifications

• Catering experience required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers permit where state law requires.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure functions are delivered in a timely fashion.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Director.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
