Job summary

Compass Group USA's Eurest team in Batesville, IN is hiring a full-time Catering Captain to coordinate catering staff schedules, deliver functions on time, and assist with food preparation under the Catering Director.

The role requires catering experience and may require a valid driver's license and permits where required by state law. You will interact with guests, ensure food safety, and maintain service quality across events.

Qualifications

• Catering experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license may be required where state law applies.
• Must possess or obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates workload requirements from catering orders.
• Speaks with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements and resolve changes.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Demonstrates understanding of menu items and ensures proper presentation.
