• We are hiring immediately for a full-time CATERING CAPTAIN position.
• Address: 300 W 1st Street Arlington, TX 76019 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Requirements: Food service, catering, customer service experience required. Experience in creating proposals, invoicing, and expense reports required.
• Pay Range: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, serving, and clearing of functions. Prepares and serves food under supervision. May drive a truck for deliveries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determine workload from catering orders.
• Prepare event proposals, organize files with correspondence, orders, invoices, etc.
• Handle inquiries with event details.
• Prepare final invoicing and expense reports weekly.
• Meet with group leaders to discuss setup; address last-minute changes.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints.
• Understand menu items thoroughly.
• Instruct staff on work expectations.
• Assist in setting up rooms.
• Assemble and deliver food and supplies.
• Serve food and beverages.
• Return equipment and utensils.
• Ensure proper presentation, temperature, and HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment and supplies.
• Follow recipes and standards for food prep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid driver's license may be required. Must obtain food handler's and/or alcohol servers permit if required by law.
