Job Summary

Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup of functions. Prepares and serves food under the supervision of the Catering Director. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages.

Responsibilities

1. Determine workload requirements from catering orders.
2. Meet with function group leaders for setup and last-minute changes.
3. Interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally.
4. Understand menu items thoroughly.
5. Instruct staff on work expectations.
6. Assist in setting up rooms.
7. Assemble and deliver food and supplies.
8. Serve food and beverages.
9. Return equipment and supplies.
10. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and temperature following HACCP standards.
11. Maintain sanitation of equipment and supplies.
12. Follow approved recipes and standards for food prep.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by law.
