Location: Wichita State

• We are hiring immediately for full-time Catering Captain positions.

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. Must be able to work nights and weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirements: Prior bar, inventory, supervisory, and banquet experience preferred.

Job Summary

Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup. Prepares and serves food under supervision. May drive a truck for delivery.

Essential Duties

• Determine workload from orders.
• Meet with function leaders for setup and last-minute changes.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints.
• Understand menu items thoroughly.
• Instruct staff on work expectations.
• Assist with setup and delivery of food and supplies.
• Serve food and beverages.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food presentation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Obtain food handler's and/or alcohol server permits as required by law.
