Join Hilton Chicago's expanding team as a Catering Coordinator! This role is ideal for those starting their career in hospitality. Be part of a vibrant team at one of Hilton's managed properties downtown Chicago and elevate your professional journey.

What will I be doing?

Provide comprehensive support to Catering and Events Managers with administrative tasks such as:

  • Creating and updating BEOs, diagrams, resumes, change logs, and managing internal and external communications.
  • Participating in pre- and post-conference meetings, including note-taking.
  • Managing VIP needs and coordinating amenities.
  • Utilizing office communication skills and internal systems like FDC, HotSOS, OnQ PM, Smart Spend, and Microsoft Office.
  • Managing office supplies, equipment maintenance, and organization.
  • Understanding meeting space logistics, banquet menus, dietary restrictions, and ADA regulations.
  • Organizing property tours, pre-planning visits, and site inspections to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with team members on filing, supplies, and task completion.
  • Generating contracts supporting Catering Managers.
  • Engaging in direct client contact as required.
  • Managing functions from inquiry to final invoicing.
Pay Rate

The hourly rate ranges from $24.00 to $25.50, based on experience and location.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 1 year of guest contact or customer service experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems (e.g., Delphi.fdc)
  • Experience in hospitality or hotel industry
