The beautiful Hilton Chicago, located in the heart of the windy city, is currently hiring a Cook I to join our talented team!

Shift Pattern: Must have open availability for both AM and PM shifts

Located on South Michigan Avenue with views of Grant Park and Lake Michigan, this hotel features 1,544 guest rooms and suites, 234,000 sq ft of meeting space, and excellent dining options.

A Cook I is responsible for preparing food according to recipes and standards, contributing to outstanding service and profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Cook I, your responsibilities include:

• Preparing food according to recipes and quality standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and food sanitation standards
• Managing guest orders efficiently and courteously
• Knowing the menu and food products thoroughly
• Stocking and maintaining designated food stations
• Inspecting all food sent from the kitchen visually
• Practicing proper food handling and storage procedures per regulations
• Preparing requisitions for supplies and food items as needed

Pay Rate

The hourly rate upon hire is $27.66.
