Category Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize data metrics, tools, and analytics to identify opportunities and deliver insights to customers and clients.
  • Prioritize tasks focusing on strategic activities that yield higher ROI.
  • Engage with customers and clients to understand their strategies and objectives.
  • Create mutually beneficial solutions leveraging experience.
  • Develop insight-driven presentations with actionable strategies, emphasizing storytelling, visualizations, and branding guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Math, Statistics, or Economics.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, retail, or CPG industries.
  • Ability to work with large data sets; strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with syndicated data platforms like IRI, Nielsen, preferred.
  • Knowledge of shopper panel data, geodemographic data, and Category Management principles required.
Additional Details:

Position involves understanding retailer processes, data, and client objectives to create compelling, data-driven stories. No supervisory responsibilities, but guidance and mentorship to indirect reports may be involved. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Environmental requirements include primarily office work, sitting for extended periods, and lifting up to 10 pounds. The company reserves the right to modify job responsibilities as needed.
