Position Summary:

This role leads sourcing strategies for private-label and contract-manufactured chemical products in the USA and internationally within the construction industry. Responsibilities include aligning sourcing with product development, managing contract manufacturers, negotiating agreements, and ensuring quality and supply reliability. The ideal candidate has a background in contract manufacturing, supplier management, and market intelligence in construction chemicals.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage Private-Label Vendors: Develop sourcing strategies, lead negotiations, onboard new vendors, ensure compliance, analyze market trends.
  2. Manage Chemical Contract Manufacturers: Collaborate with R&D, select and evaluate manufacturers, negotiate pricing, explore new manufacturers, support international formulations.
  3. General Sourcing & Supply Management: Build supplier relationships, drive cost reductions, track KPIs, support cross-functional teams, conduct spend analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or category management in private-label or chemical manufacturing.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of chemical formulations, production processes, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
Additional Requirements:
  • Travel 25-30%
  • Must pass pre-employment physical, lift 50 lbs, push/pull 25 lbs, and be able to stand and sit for periods.
