Job summary

HappyGlobal Service is seeking experienced e-commerce operators who have owned or driven the growth of a marketplace, category, merchant/seller business, or major e-commerce program. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop growth strategies, build relationships with brands and partners, and use data to drive decision-making.

Mandarin Chinese and English fluency is required to support cross-regional collaboration and communication with stakeholders in both languages.

Job description

We are looking for experienced e-commerce operators who have owned or driven the growth of a marketplace, category, merchant/seller business, or major e-commerce program. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment with hands-on operational ownership and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category growth strategies, including merchant and brand development
• Build relationships with brands, distributors, retailers, and other e-commerce partners
• Drive growth across e-commerce marketplace, category, merchant, or seller operations
• Develop and execute strategies to improve business performance and operational efficiency
• Identify opportunities to grow merchants, sellers, assortment, GMV, and overall marketplace performance
• Partner cross-functionally with commercial, product, marketing, logistics, and other operational teams
• Develop scalable solutions to address key business and merchant challenges
• Use data and business insights to identify opportunities and drive decision-making
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required to support cross-regional collaboration and communication with stakeholders in both languages
• Strong experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, category management, seller/merchant operations, or e-commerce business operations
• Demonstrated ownership of meaningful business, marketplace, category, merchant, or seller metrics
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience driving growth and measurable business outcomes
• Demonstrated experience independently owning complex e-commerce initiatives with significant business impact

Experience with cross-border e-commerce, global operations, category P&L, GMV growth, seller acquisition, merchant growth, or marketplace strategy is highly preferred.
