Job summary

Advantage Solutions in New Jersey seeks a Category Insights Analyst to serve as a key analytical resource for our clients with $20M+ in regional retail sales. You will accelerate information delivery, streamline processes, and provide reporting, forecasting, and sales planning support to drive client growth.

You will collect and analyze data from NIQ, Circana, retailers and shipments, develop ad hoc and standardized reports, and act as the subject‑matter expert on consumption data for assigned

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; professional certification in category management a plus.
• Experience: Less than 1 year in consumer packaged goods or related field preferred.
• Travel: No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Reporting: use diverse data sources to provide insights and meet region KPIs.
• Trade & Pricing: develop retail trade and promotional pricing analyses.
• Marketplace Expertise: analyze market trends and retailer-specific data by geography.
• Business Reviews: assist in creating line reviews and selling stories for client opportunities.
• Collaboration on Merchandising: work with Space Management to improve planograms and shelving standards.
