Job summary

Advantage Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Category Insights Analyst to partner with national clients and provide strategic insights from syndicated data. You will develop reporting solutions, deliver actionable recommendations, and mentor junior analysts while supporting process improvements and data quality initiatives.

You will leverage NIQ and Circana data, build compelling presentations, and collaborate with Sales and Insights teams to drive client growth and retail performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 to 5 years of CPG or retail data analytics experience.
• Experience with syndicated data and retail performance metrics.
• Category Management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Insights: identify opportunities, risks, and trends to inform sales strategies.
• Trade & Pricing: support retail trade and promotional pricing analysis, evaluate ROI.
• Business Reviews & Market Assessments: develop line reviews and client-specific selling stories.
• Project Management: coordinate timelines and manage multiple priorities.
• Client/Customer Partnership: build relationships and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
