This role requires 5+ years in fresh produce sales, strong negotiation, and travel flexibility. You will analyze market trends, manage relationships with key accounts, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4-year Degree (Business or related field) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years fresh produce sales experience.
• Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
• Knowledge of logistics involved within the produce industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Team-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Forecast future demand, volume and revenue to guide sales objectives.
• Develop regional sales by building relationships with customers.
• Resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Analyze market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage accounts receivable and portfolio.
• Negotiate pricing and volume with customers.
• Coordinate product allocation and sales allowances when needed.
• Oversee order entry systems and carrier assignments.
• Conduct weekly market checks and quality reports.
• Support special projects and develop sales materials.
• Collaborate with DCs, port and operations to ensure service.
