The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fresh produce sales, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a solid understanding of logistics and financial indicators. This is a full-time, on-site position with company benefits and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years fresh produce sales experience with retailers, wholesalers, food service or cash customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of logistics in the produce industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic sales plans, budgets, volume and revenue objectives.
• Forecast demands and pricing to meet objectives.
• Expand regional sales by building relationships with customers and new prospects.
• Address customer issues to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Analyze market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
• Review accounts receivable to minimize payment delays.
• Negotiate pricing and volume with customers to meet targets.
• Coordinate product allocations and sales allowances to maximize revenue.
• Process orders, assign carriers, and manage daily changes.
• Conduct weekly market checks and performance reviews.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
