Job summary

Del Monte Foods wants a results-driven sales leader to drive revenue growth and strengthen customer partnerships within the fresh produce sector. You will develop strategic plans, forecast demand, and expand opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate with multiple departments to optimize product availability, pricing, and service levels across the region, leveraging strong negotiation and analytical skills to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• 4-year Degree (Business or related field) or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years fresh produce sales experience with large retailers, wholesalers, or food service.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of logistics within the produce industry.
• Ability to grow a business and expand opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Knowledge of Key Financial Indicators and strong negotiation skills.
• Solid prioritization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic plans, budget, volume and revenue objectives to meet targets.
• Forecast future demand, volume and revenue to ensure objective compliance.
• Expand sales opportunities by maintaining relationships with existing and new customers.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction through effective problem solving.
• Build market intelligence by analyzing supply and demand to identify growth opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing and volume to meet sales objectives and review accounts receivable.
