Smithfield Foods, Inc. in Smithfield, Virginia is seeking an Associate Business Manager who will drive profitability for a product category, collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Marketing.

You will own day-to-day execution of the annual business plan and manage the P&L for your product group. You will lead forecasting with demand and supply planning, develop retail pricing, monitor trade spending, and support cross-functional projects with Marketing and R&D to launch cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Strong quantitative reasoning and data-driven decision-making skills.
• High level of written and verbal communication, planning, teamwork, and adaptability.

Responsabilités

• Manage the P&L for a product category, tracking sales, costs and profitability.
• Develop and maintain pricing and promotional parameters; monitor marketplace opportunities.
• Lead planning and execution of projects; coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with Marketing and R&D to develop new products, cost-saving initiatives and new business opportunities.
