Job summary

StockX is seeking a Category Manager in Detroit to own growth and strategic trajectory for a major category. You will identify opportunities, build pipelines, and drive seller and creator engagement from early stages through scale.

You will work with Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Ops to accelerate liquidity, engagement, and monetization while aligning with data-driven growth goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or marketplace growth.
• Strategic thinker who executes in ambiguous environments.
• Strong relationship-building with sellers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Category Strategy & Ownership: Define the strategic vision and growth plan; become a deep expert on the category landscape; establish metrics and quarterly goals.
• Supply & Community Acquisition: Build a pipeline of sellers, creators, influencers; drive onboarding and enablement; cultivate long-term relationships.
• Cross-Functional Go-To-Market Execution: Partner with Account & Partnerships Managers; collaborate with Category Marketing; represent category needs to Product and Engineering.
• Category Performance & Analytics: Use data to diagnose growth opportunities; track supply, engagement, retention, and revenue trends; surface insights to leadership.
• Culture & Community Leadership: Act as the platform's representative; engage with category norms and trends; champion creator and seller needs.
• About you: 5+ years in relevant roles; strategic, relationship-driven, data-informed.
