Job summary

StockX is seeking a Sneakers Category Manager to own growth for sneakers within a high-priority commerce initiative. You will be the in-house authority on sneaker culture, economics, and moments, translating expertise into supply growth, engagement, and GMV.

You will build a pipeline of top sellers and creators, lead cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, and partnerships, and define category playbooks for scalable growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in category management, partnerships, or marketplace growth within sneakers or adjacent ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of sneaker culture, sellers, creators, and community dynamics.
• Data-literate and commercially minded with understanding of pricing, margins, liquidity, and incentives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the growth strategy for sneakers within the StockX platform.
• Own category-level performance across supply, engagement, and revenue.
• Establish quarterly goals, leading indicators, and operating rhythms.
• Recruit and onboard flagship sellers; develop seller strategies balancing credibility, storytelling, and commerce.
• Identify sneaker-specific moments and campaigns to drive engagement and conversion.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to shape features for sellers and buyers.
• Document learnings and playbooks to enable future category growth.
