JDP is seeking a Category Analyst! They will identify growth opportunities through analysis of sales data, industry trends and consumer trends. The analyst will strategically gather data to drive sales and marketing decisions to achieve company objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate company sales data, industry trends and competitor industry data to identify ways to improve market position
• Compile and present business insights and analytics and interpret the data to guide marketing strategy
• Identify key metrics and methodology to conduct analysis by category and brand
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop sales forecasts and client delivery schedules
• Present weekly reports to the sales department and management
• Recommend strategies to improve distribution and pricing that will positively impact financial results

Requirements :

• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related area of study
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Superior analytical skills
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and advanced Excel expertise
